Best Steak Marinade
This is the only steak marinade recipe you’ll ever need! Incredibly easy to make with simple ingredients, it creates a robust, savory flavor that perfectly complements rich beef without overpowering it. It’s a guaranteed way to make your next steak unforgettable.
Why You’ll Love It:
Perfectly Balanced: Enhances the steak’s natural flavor, doesn’t mask it.
Quick & Easy: Just toss everything in a blender and mix!
Versatile: Excellent on flank steak, ribeye, strip steak, sirloin, and filet mignon.
A Note on Italian Seasoning: This blend of dried herbs (typically basil, oregano, parsley, and garlic) is key. If you don’t have it, you can use equal parts of those individual dried herbs.
Ingredients
1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
3 tbsp dried basil (or Italian seasoning)
1 1/2 tbsp dried parsley flakes
1 tsp ground white pepper (black pepper works too)
Optional: 1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce, 1 tsp dried minced garlic
InstructionsCombine: Place all ingredients into a blender.
Mix: Blend on high speed for 30 seconds until the marinade is smooth and well-combined.
Marinate: Pour the marinade over your steak in a dish or resealable bag, ensuring it’s fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or for best results, up to 8 hours.
Cook: Remove the steak from the marinade and cook it to your preferred doneness. Discard any unused marinade.
