Snoop Dogg’s Bow Wow Brownies

Straight out of the Dogg House kitchen, these brownies are a chocolate lover's dream. With a fudgy, melt-in-your-mouth texture and a double dose of chocolate chips, they're the ultimate treat. Serve it up with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a dessert that's truly fo'shizzle.

Yields: 6 large, pimpin' brownies
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 25-30 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes (plus cooling)

Ingredients

For the Brownies:

  • ⅔ cup all-purpose flour

  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 2 tablespoons whole milk

  • 2 ½ cups milk chocolate morsels, divided

  • 2 large eggs

  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

For Serving (Optional but Recommended):

  • Vanilla ice cream

  • Chocolate sauce

Instructions

1. Preheat & Prep:
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Butter an 8-inch square baking pan to prevent stickin'.

2. Mix the Dry Ingredients:
In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set this aside.

3. Create the Chocolate Base:
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar, butter, and milk. Bring it to a boil, then immediately remove from the heat.
Add 1 ½ cups of the chocolate morsels to the hot mixture and stir until they're fully melted and the mixture is smooth.

4. Combine Wet Ingredients:
Whisk the eggs and vanilla extract into the melted chocolate mixture until everything is smoothly blended.

5. Bring It All Together:
Gradually add the flour mixture to the chocolate base, stirring until just combined and no dry streaks remain. Avoid overmixing!
Spread the thick batter evenly into your prepared pan. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of chocolate morsels over the top.

6. Bake to Perfection:
Bake for 25-30 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through. The brownies are done when the edges are set, but the center might still look a little soft—this is the key to a fudgy texture.

7. Cool and Serve with Style:
Let the brownies cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. Once cool, slice into 6 large squares. Serve as is, or take it to the next level with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce.

Chef's Notes

  • Don't Overbake: For the best fudgy results, it's better to slightly underbake than overbake. A toothpick inserted near the center should come out with a few moist crumbs attached.

  • Chopped Chocolate: You can use a high-quality milk chocolate bar, chopped, instead of morsels for an even richer flavor.

  • Let Them Cool: This is a crucial step for clean slices. Cutting into warm brownies will result in a gooey mess (a delicious one, but not as pretty).

  • Storage: Keep these pimpin' treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
