Ingredients:
Garlic Bread:
- 1 loaf French bread, sliced in half lengthwise
- 4 tbsp butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Shrimp Filling:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
For the Sandwich:
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- Butter for grilling
Instructions:
- Prepare the Garlic Bread:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix softened butter, garlic, Parmesan, and parsley. Spread evenly on both bread halves.
- Bake on a sheet for 10–12 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Cook the Shrimp:
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season shrimp with paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Set aside.
- Assemble & Grill:
- On one garlic bread half, layer shrimp and Monterey Jack cheese. Top with the other half.
- Heat a skillet with butter over medium heat. Grill the sandwich 3–4 minutes per side until cheese melts and bread is golden.
- Slice and serve immediately.
