Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the sausage.
Pour the batter evenly over the top.

  5. Bake:
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  6. Serve:
Let the pie cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.

🌟 Tips for Success

  • Sausage Choice: Use spicy sausage for a kick, or mild for a family-friendly version.

  • Cheese Swap: Try Monterey Jack, pepper jack, or a Colby blend for different flavors.

  • Make It Ahead: Assemble the pie the night before, cover, and refrigerate. Bake as directed, adding a few extra minutes if needed.

  • Add Fresh Flavor: Stir 2 tbsp of chopped parsley or chives into the batter for a fresh finish.
