Prep Time: 10 minutes
Chill Time: 30 minutes (optional, but recommended)
Total Time: 40 minutes
Servings: 8-10
Ingredients
16 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
1/3 cup chopped tamed jalapeños, drained
1/3 cup chopped roasted red peppers, drained
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Combine the Base.
In a medium bowl, use a hand mixer (or a sturdy spatula) to beat the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise together until completely smooth and creamy.
2. Season.
Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, and salt until well incorporated.
3. Add the "Christmas" Colors.
Fold in the shredded white cheddar cheese, chopped jalapeños (green), and roasted red peppers (red) until everything is evenly distributed throughout the dip.
4. Chill and Serve.
For the best flavor, transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled with your favorite dippers like crackers, pretzel chips, or vegetable sticks.
Chef's Tips
For a Smoother Dip: If you prefer a completely uniform texture, you can pulse all the ingredients together in a food processor until smooth.
Spice Level: The "tamed" jalapeños provide a mild heat. For a spicier dip, use pickled jalapeños from the jar, or add a teaspoon of the jalapeño brine.
Make-Ahead: This dip is perfect for preparing ahead! It can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Give it a good stir before serving.
